Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brothers and sisters who are facing persecution around the world. Your Word reminds us in Matthew 5:10-12, "Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you."
Lord, we pray for your divine protection and strength to be upon those who are facing persecution for their faith. Comfort them in their afflictions and surround them with your love and peace. Give them courage to stand firm in their beliefs, knowing that they are not alone, for you are with them always.
We ask that you would intervene in the lives of those who are persecuting your children. Soften their hearts and open their eyes to the truth of your gospel. May they come to know you and experience your transforming love.
Father, we also pray for the persecuted Church to be strengthened and united. May they find solace in your Word and draw closer to you in their times of trial. Grant them wisdom and discernment to navigate through difficult circumstances, and provide them with opportunities to share the hope and salvation found in Jesus Christ.
Lord, we lift up our voices in unity, echoing the words of the Apostle Paul in 2 Thessalonians 3:1, "Finally, brothers and sisters, pray for us that the message of the Lord may spread rapidly and be honored, just as it was with you." We pray that the gospel would continue to advance and reach the hearts of those who have yet to know you.
In Jesus' name, we pray, believing that you are the God who hears and answers our prayers. May your name be glorified through the lives of those who are persecuted, and may your kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven.
Amen.
