Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up the people of Manipur who are suffering from the kuki meitei war. Lord, we pray for peace and harmony to prevail in this region. Your Word reminds us in Psalm 34:14, "Turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it." We ask that you intervene in this situation and bring an end to the conflict.
Lord, we pray for reconciliation and forgiveness among the warring factions. Soften their hearts and help them to see the futility of violence. We pray for a spirit of understanding and unity to replace hatred and division. Your Word teaches us in Matthew 5:9, "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God." May the people of Manipur become instruments of peace, working towards reconciliation and healing.
Father, we also pray for the victims of this war. Comfort those who have lost loved ones, provide for those who have been displaced, and heal the physical and emotional wounds of all those affected. Your Word assures us in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We ask for your healing touch to be upon them.
Lord, we lift up this prayer request to you, knowing that you are a God of peace and restoration. We trust in your sovereignty and believe that you can bring about a transformation in this situation. We pray for your divine intervention and for your kingdom to come in Manipur, where your will is done on earth as it is in heaven.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
