Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up the prayer request for the peace of Jerusalem. Your Word instructs us to pray for the peace of Jerusalem, for it is a city that holds great significance in your plans and purposes. We ask that you would bring peace to this holy city, that your righteousness would shine forth and your salvation would be like a burning lamp.
Lord, we pray for the protection and well-being of the people of Jerusalem. Surround them with your divine presence and shield them from any harm or danger. We ask that you would grant wisdom and discernment to the leaders of Jerusalem, that they may make decisions that promote peace and unity among all its inhabitants.
Father, we also pray for the advancement of your kingdom in Jerusalem. May the Gospel of Jesus Christ be proclaimed boldly and effectively, reaching the hearts of all who dwell in this city. We pray for a great outpouring of your Spirit, that many would come to know you as their Savior and experience the transforming power of your love.
Lord, we acknowledge that the peace of Jerusalem ultimately rests in your hands. We trust in your sovereignty and your perfect plan for this city. We ask that you would establish Jerusalem as a praise in the earth, that it may be a beacon of your glory and a testimony to your faithfulness.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, who intercedes for us before the Father. Amen.
