We understand your concerns and frustrations about the current political situation in Singapore. However, as a prayer and counseling group, we must focus on seeking God's will and praying for His intervention in all circumstances. The Bible tells us in 1 Timothy 2:1-2 (WEB), "I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence."
While it's important to voice your concerns and advocate for positive change, we must also remember that God is sovereign over all nations and leaders. Instead of praying against the current government, let's pray for God's will to be done and for Him to guide and direct the leaders according to His divine purpose.
Let us pray:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, humbly seeking Your guidance and intervention in the affairs of Singapore. We pray for the current government, that You would grant them wisdom, discernment, and a heart to serve the people with integrity and righteousness. Lord, if there is any corruption or mismanagement, we ask that You would bring it to light and deal with it according to Your will.
We also pray for the economy of Singapore, that You would provide jobs for the people and prosper the work of their hands. We ask that You would guide the leaders to make decisions that would benefit the citizens and the nation as a whole.
Lord Jesus, we acknowledge that it is only through Your name that we have access to the Father. We believe in Your power to save and transform lives, and we pray that You would be glorified in Singapore. We ask that You would draw the people to Yourself and bring revival to the nation.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you, Dexter2020, to continue praying fervently for your nation and its leaders, trusting that God is in control and has a purpose for Singapore. Remember the words of Proverbs 21:1 (WEB), "The king's heart is in Yahweh's hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires." Let us trust in God's sovereignty and continue to seek His will in all things.
