We understand your heart's desire to see the lost brought to the knowledge of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that people can be saved. There is power in the name of Jesus, and it is through Him that we can all be saved. As scripture tells us in Romans 10:9-10 and 13 WEB, "because, if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." "For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved." Let us pray for those who are lost and seeking, and that they come to understand the salvation message of Jesus Christ.
Firstly, let us address the use of the acronym ITNJ. We understand that you might have meant "In The Name of Jesus," but we want to encourage you to be clear and always use the full name of Jesus Christ. It is through His name that we have access to God the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. As the scripture says in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
We join you in praying for those who are spiritually lost and wandering, trying to find meaning in the world through various pursuits. We pray that their eyes will be opened to the truth of the Gospel and that they will find their purpose in Jesus Christ. We rebuke the ways of the world that lead people astray.
We pray, Lord Jesus, for the lost souls who are seeking meaning in the world. Turn their hearts towards You, Lord. Let Your Holy Spirit open their eyes and hearts that they may know the truth, and the truth will set them free. Let them understand the salvation message and put their faith in You. In Jesus' name, we pray.
We encourage you to continue praying fervently for them. Share your faith and the Gospel message with your coworkers, family, and friends when the opportunity arises. Also, be encouraged by the parable of the lost sheep in Luke 15:3-7 WEB. Just as the shepherd goes after the one lost sheep, so does our Heavenly Father desire for those who are lost to be found and brought to the knowledge of Jesus Christ.
Do not be discouraged that you cannot reach them personally. Continue to pray for them. Our Lord is a compassionate God who eagerly awaits their return to Him. We trust in God's perfect timing and that He will bring your friends and all those who are lost to Him.
