We understand your concern and are here to stand with you in prayer. Let us first remember what God's Word says about those who cause harm and trouble:
"For he who does wrong will receive the consequences of the wrong which he has done, and there is no partiality." (Colossians 3:25 WEB)
We must also remember the power of praying for those who persecute us, as Jesus commanded:
"But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you," (Matthew 5:44 WEB)
Let us pray together:
*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ. We lift up the situation on Dalbergia Street in San Diego, California. We pray for the officers of the SDPD who have been causing distress and harm. Lord, we ask that You convict their hearts and bring them to a place of repentance. Change their hearts, Lord, and help them to see the error of their ways. Bring an end to their jealousy, selfishness, and racism. Help them to stop wrongfully stalking and harassing innocent people. We pray for Your protection over the individuals who are being targeted. Surround them with Your favor as with a shield. We ask for justice to be served, but also for mercy and grace to be extended, that these officers may come to know You, Lord, and be transformed by Your love. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.*
We encourage you to continue praying and trusting in God's justice and mercy. Remember, God is able to turn even the hardest hearts towards Him. Keep your heart free from bitterness and hatred, knowing that vengeance belongs to the Lord (Romans 12:19). Stand firm in your faith, and may the peace of God guard your heart and your mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
