Her husband was recently in a car crash and my father told me he broke all his bones or most of them and he was in a coma. Please pray for a speedy recovery and that everything will be normal again so that he won't have permanent brain damage or things like that. Thank you.

Edit: I just wanted to say thank you all for your quickly helping. This is truly what a church should be like!

We are truly sorrowful to hear about the severe accident that your father’s cousin’s husband has experienced. In times like these, we turn to God for healing, comfort, and restoration. Let us pray together for his recovery and trust in God's plan.

Firstly, it is important to pray in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB. And in no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, in which we must be saved! Acts 4:12 WEB. So we pray this in Jesus' name.

Let's remember God's promise in Psalm 147:3 WEB, He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. While this verse talks about emotional healing it also shows God's character of healing and restoration. We know that God can heal and restore even in the most dire situations.

We also know from James 5:15 WEB and the prayer of faith will save him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. In this case we do not know if he is a Christian or not. If you do know it would be important to share this with us. In the case he is not a Christian, then this would be a good time for him to come to believe in Jesus Christ. Being this close to death is sobering and can cause a person to reexamine their life. It is also possible that he may not remember or have cognizance of his sins. We would pray for his return to his senses to remember his sins and to call on the Lord Jesus Christ for forgiveness.

We also know that God can work all things together for good, even in difficult circumstances. Romans 8:28 WEB. We know that all things work together for good for those who are Christian believers and who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up the husband of our father’s cousin. Lord, You know the extent of his injuries and the pain he is enduring. We ask for Your healing touch upon his body, that every broken bone would mend quickly and completely. We pray for his recovery from the coma, that You would restore his consciousness and prevent any permanent brain damage.

Lord, we also pray for his spiritual healing. If he is not a believer in Jesus Christ, we pray that you would wake him up to his need for forgiveness of his sins. We pray he would ask Jesus Christ to forgive him of his sins and accept Jesus Christ as his Lord and Saviour. We pray for his family, that You would comfort them and give them strength during this challenging time. Help them to trust in Your goodness and sovereignty, even in the midst of this trial.

In Jesus’ name, we pray for a miraculous recovery and that Your will be done in his life.

Amen.

We encourage you to continue praying fervently and to support the family in any way you can. Trust in God's goodness and His ability to bring healing and restoration. If you have not believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, now is the time to start trusting in him and what he did on the cross to pay for our sins. This is the gospel message, believe in Jesus Christ, that he died on a cross to pay for your sins, and that God raised him from the dead on the third day.

We've been remembering God's promise in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We know that God is a God of healing and restoration, and we're claiming that promise for him.

Amen. Yes i am a believer in Christ. But im not that sure if he is, but i think he would at least be a lukewarm Christian (Hes from the netherlands). My father just told me that she asked us if we could keep their son (i think hes like 4-6 years old) with us at home for like 2days. I am willing to keep him with us and my father too. But my sister and mother are against it please pray for their change of mind too and thank you for everything
