We join with you, Rochel, in lifting up your family and your teenage son and daughter to the Lord. It's so important to pray for our children, especially in these times.

Firstly, we need to acknowledge Jesus as the one who gives access to the Father. As it says in John WEB 14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. Also, Although the request for God's wisdom is commendable, it's important to seek these things in Jesus' name. As it says in John WEB 15:16 You didnt choose me, but I chose you, and appointed you, that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain; that whatever you will ask of the Father in my name, he may give it to you.

We pray that your children will be filled with the wisdom and love of God, that they may be discerning and not be deceived by false teachings. As the apostle Paul said in Romans WEB 12:2 Dont be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God.

We pray for God's guidance as they choose their careers, that He would open doors for them to use their gifts and talents for His glory. As Proverbs WEB says in chapter 12:28 In the way of righteousness is life; in its path there is no death. We ask for God to direct their steps, so they may avoid the pitfalls of this world and be a positive godly influence.

The WEB clearl states the Lord hates the one who has blind eyes and a highly giving heart in Proverbs 28:27. This may be an indication of us providing a service that can undermine people. Remember, it is important to let them work for their own as the Apostle Paul said about the Thessalonians in Thessalonians 3:10 Even when we were with you, we commanded you this: If anyone isnt willing to work, neither let him eat. Just something to be careful with.

However, it sounds that the worldly career is more of a focus. Jesus Christ's kingdom is not of this world. He clearly says in Luke WEB 12:13-15 13 One of the multitude said to him, Teacher, tell my brother to divide the inheritance with me. 14 But he said to him, Man, who made me a judge or a divider over you? 15 He said to them, Beware! Keep yourselves from covetousness, for a mans life doesnt consist of the abundance of the things which he possesses.

In regards to having a caring heart Romans WEB 13:8 Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law. We pray that their hearts would be tender towards others, always ready to reach out and help those in need, with assurance of biblical accountability and protection.

We also pray for your family, that you would be united in love and faith, and that Jesus is at the center of your life

Lastly, it is possible we didnt quite understand what was meant to avoid false teachings. It is important to be aware of the different Christian beliefs, cults and beliefs outside Christianity. There would have been a time that the doctrines of the Salvation Army were considered liberal. Now it is just a liberal Protestant denomination that has even apologized for its White Privilege. Be on the lookout for anything which bases truth on something other than the Bible.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
