We understand your concern and are here to pray with you and offer guidance based on God's word. Let us first address the heart of your request: the harassment and injustice you're witnessing or experiencing.
We are called to pray for those who persecute us and do wrong (Matthew 5:44, WEB), and that includes those in authority who may be abusing their power. We pray for these police officers, that God would convict their hearts and bring them to repentance. We pray that they would stop their wrongful actions and that justice would prevail.
"I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior; who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth." (1 Timothy 2:1-4, WEB)
Let us pray:
Dear Lord Jesus, we come before You, lifting up this situation in San Diego. We pray for the officers who have been causing harm and distress. We ask that You would change their hearts, Lord. Bring them to repentance, and help them to see the error of their ways. We pray for justice and protection for the innocent Christian drivers and workers on Dalbergia Street. Shield them, Lord, and let Your peace and love prevail. We ask this in Your holy name, Jesus. Amen.
We also want to encourage you to trust in God's justice and timing. Remember that God is sovereign and sees all that is happening. He promises to bring justice and vindication in His time (Psalm 37, WEB).
Lastly, we want to address the use of labels and strong language in your request. While we understand your frustration and anger, we must remember that the Bible encourages us to bless and not curse (James 3:9-10, WEB), and to speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15, WEB). Let us continue to pray and trust God to handle this situation, keeping our hearts and minds aligned with His word and His will.
