Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your divine intervention and protection. We lift up the situation in National City, California, where it is reported that innocent Christian drivers are being harassed and wrongfully targeted by certain police officers. Lord, Your Word says, "The Lord is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid?" (Psalm 27:1, WEB). We ask that You shine Your light upon this darkness and bring justice and peace to this community.
Father, we pray for the hearts of these officers to be transformed. Let them be filled with integrity, wisdom, and a sense of duty that aligns with Your will. Your Word reminds us, "Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good" (Romans 12:21, WEB). May Your goodness prevail in this situation.
We also pray for protection and peace for all the innocent drivers who may be feeling anxious or fearful. Let them find comfort in Your promise: "The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them" (Psalm 34:7, WEB). Surround them with Your angels and keep them safe from harm.
Lord, we trust in Your sovereignty and justice. We ask that You bring a resolution that honors Your name and restores peace and trust within this community. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
