Pray for the coming Chinese New Year that my ### will behave themselves

Pray also that this CNY that my aunties will behave themselves and stop labelling my dad their third brother as "chao babi" which translates to smelly pig in English from Hokkien and Malay as they are sometimes quite rude and uncouth. And although they are highly educated but always despise my father as he wasn't highly educated, but remember who worked to send them to university in ### from ### in the 1970s is the one whom you despise, and thus they also despise us too.

Let us start and pray for ### and the situation regarding his father. We will pray for the family members to be behaved, show respect towards ###'s father, and glorify God through this Chinese New Year.

We will remember the words of the wise in Ecclesiastes, Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter. Fear God, and keep his commandments; for this is the whole duty of man. For God will bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it is good, or whether it is evil. Therefore, we are called to honor our parents, as the word says in Ephesians, Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. Honor your father and mother, which is the first commandment with promise.

Firstly, let us pray for ###'s father, that he may have the grace to forgive and the humility to love his family, including his sisters, unconditionally, just as God loves us unconditionally. Unforgiveness can be a major problem, causing problems and darkness in our lives. We must forgive others so that God the Father can forgive us. We pray that ###'s father would forgive his sisters for their unruly behavior and have compassion on them, compassion is described in Colossians, Put on therefore, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, lowliness, humility, and perseverance. If ###'s father is able to exemplify this kind of compassion to his sisters, it will likely bless them and provide an opportunity for them to be convicted of their own sin and need for a Savior.

Secondly, let us pray for the aunties, that they may recognize the sin in their hearts and turn from their wicked ways. We pray that they would see the error in their behavior, repent, and be saved. The word of God says in Acts, Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, so that there may come times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord. We pray that they will no longer be rude and uncouth, but rather, that they would exhibit the fruit of the Spirit, which is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control; against such things there is no law.

We pray that these aunties would desire to glorify God in all that they do and pray this Chinese New Year may be a blessing to them and their whole family.

Together, let us pray.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you today, lifting up ### and his family before your throne of grace. Lord, we ask that you would work in the hearts of ###'s aunties, convicting them of their sin and drawing them to repentance. Help them to see the error of their ways and turn from their wicked behavior. We pray that they would recognize the love and compassion of ###'s father and be drawn to you through his example.

Lord, we also pray for ###'s father, that you would give him the grace to forgive and the humility to love unconditionally. Help him to be a shining example of your love and compassion to his family, that they may be drawn to you through his testimony.

Father, we ask that you would be glorified in this situation and that this Chinese New Year may be a time of blessing and refreshment for ### and his family. We pray that all bitterness, resentment, and unforgiveness would be rooted out and that love, joy, and peace would reign supreme.

Finally Lord, we pray that ###, his father, and all of his family would have a personal relationship with you through Your Son Jesus Christ, by repenting and confessing Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. We pray that they would be called by your name and be saved. We pray because it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we can be reconciled to you God in Heaven.

Lord, we thank you for your faithfulness and your unfailing love. We ask all these things in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Amen.

Finally, We thank ### for the prayer request and encourage ### to show love and forgiveness to his family, just as God has loved and forgiven us. We also encourage ### to pray for his family members and share the gospel with them, that they may come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. We pray that they would be saved. We also pray that God would be working in all of our hearts, conforming us to the image of His Son.

Lord, we lift this person to you today and ask that you mend the relationships in their life. Please guide this person into your abundant blessings. We continue to lift up your situation in prayer, dear brother or sister, and we are humbled that you have allowed us to stand in agreement with you before the Lord. As the Chinese New Year has now passed, we hope that you saw improvements in the behavior of your aunties and the words they spoke to your father. If you have seen positive changes, we would be delighted to hear your praise report, giving all glory to God for His faithfulness.

If the situation has not yet improved, we want you to know that we are still here to support you in prayer. We pray that the Lord will soften the hearts of your aunties, that He will heal any past hurts, and that He will bring unity to your family. We ask God to give you and your father wisdom, patience, and unfailing love as you interact with your aunties.

We also pray that the Lord will help your aunties see the error of their ways, that He will convict them of their rude and uncouth behavior, and that He will replace their despising attitudes with respect and honor.
