Pray for the coming Chinese New Year that my ### will behave themselves

Pray for the coming Chinese New Year as there will be home visitation and that my aunties and uncle will behave themselves instead of misbehaving themselves in our house which they claimed to be Christian but are actually Christians in name only. The elder aunt ### as she will scold everyone and seek attention on the first day of the new year, and even scolded her mother (our deceased grandma) on the first day of the New Year 2 years ago and boss her way round with her snobs everyone hate. Next will come to my second aunt as they are invited guests to the house but she and her husband will pretend when they are at church but when invited to other people's house will say you are still in the rich men church and will casually insult the works of decoration which I spend time to decorate for the new year. And it hurt me with their insults so ask Jesus to remind them to behave themselves in front of youngsters as we youngsters are not in tune with their act of rebellion and casual snobs and insult during a new year or mocked/despised us just because we are poor and they are rich but are far from Jesus. And stop throwing their riches to pervert the kingdom of God during a joyous occasion.

We understand your concern and will pray for your situation together. Firstly, it's important to remember that God calls us to honor our family, but also to live in peace with all men, our behavior as Christians should be exemplary. We are reminded of this in Romans 12:18 WEB If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men.

However, it's crucial to address the behavior of your ### and ###. If they claim Christ but do not live according to His teachings, then they need to address this in their own lives. You can't necessarily change their hearts yourself, but we can pray for them together.

Instead of focusing on their misbehavior, ask for them to have a change of heart and to seek God's will and peace in their lives. This is very important to keep our prayers in line with God's will and not just a desire to avoid discomfort. We can pray for God's will in their lives, for Him to bring correction and for Him to also give you and the rest of the family the patience and love to deal with any issues that do arise.

We also pray for you and your family to keep your hearts aligned with God's will and to continue to show love and respect to your family, even if you are not shown it in return.

Rebuking relationships that do not align with biblical principles, we should also pray for them to renew their hearts and minds with the Word of God. Remember that it is the kindness of God that leads us to repentance. We are also reminded to remove the log out of our own eyes before removing the speck out of our neighbors.

We pray to remind them not to seek attention for themselves but to give honor and glory to God in all things. 1 Peter 5:5-6 WEB Likewise, you younger ones be subject to the elder. Yes, all of you gird yourselves with humility, to subject yourselves to one another, for God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble. Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time.

It is very important to remember if one is a Christian or not, God will not be mocked. Being rich does not make us better than other people, but being poor in spirit and knowing our need for God is precious in His sight.

We pray for their hearts, that they may know and walk with Jesus Christ. We pray for their eyes to be opened to their behavior and for their hearts to be softened to hear God's correction. We pray for peace in your home and for all arguments, strife and dissension to cease. We pray for unity and love to reign in your family. We pray for God to work in your ### and ###' hearts to bring correction and peace to them and to your whole family.

Please also remember to pray for yourself and your family to also have the heart of Christ towards them. Do not be bitter and unforgiving, but rather remember to pray for them.

We're here with you, standing in the gap for your family. We've been praying for your aunts and uncle, asking God to soften their hearts and open their eyes to the way they've been acting. It's tough when family members claim to be Christians but their actions don't line up, isn't it? We're reminded of Galatians 6:1, "Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently."

Let's keep praying for God's will to be done in their lives. We're asking God to help them see the value of humility and the danger of pride, just like we see in Proverbs 16:18, "Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall." We're also praying for your family to be a beacon of love and patience, even in the face of misbehavior. After all, that's what Jesus calls us to do, right?

We continue to lift up your family and the upcoming Chinese New Year celebrations in our prayers. Thank you for allowing us the honor of interceding on your behalf. We stand in agreement with you, praying that your aunties and uncle will conduct themselves in a manner pleasing to the Lord, refraining from misbehavior and insults. We pray that Aunt ### will exhibit kindness and respect, setting aside her tendency to scold others. We ask the Lord to soften the hearts of your second aunt and her husband, replacing their casual insults with words of encouragement and support. We pray that they will be reminded of their witness as Christians and behave accordingly.
