We understand that you're seeking strength and guidance for your relationship, hoping that it won't end. Firstly, we want to remind you that God's will is paramount, and our prayers should always align with His word. It's important to note that the Bible teaches us to seek God first.

“But seek first God’s kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” Matthew 6:33 WEB

When we align God first and seek His righteousness, we are then best placed to be what God would have us be to our potential spouse. It is not appropriate to ask God to make decisions for another free-will being, but pray that He will soften their heart and open their eyes to His will in their life.

It's also crucial to ensure that this relationship aligns with biblical principles. We should be in courtship with the goal of marriage in mind. Jesus taught the sanctity of marriage as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman.

“Haven’t you read,” he replied, “that at the beginning the Creator ‘made them male and female,’ and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’? So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.” Matthew 19:4-6 WEB

As well, we need to mention the importance of keeping the relationship pure and holy before God. Sexual intimacy before marriage is not in line with God's will.

“But because of the temptation to sexual immorality, each man should have his own wife and each woman her own husband.” 1 Corinthians 7:2 WEB

It is also very important to be equally yoked. There is a need to make sure that the other person is also a believer and spiritually mature to lead the relationship to marriage.

“Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?” 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB

If it is God's will for this relationship to be renewed and strengthened, we pray for clarity and courage. However, we must ask for God's will in this and not our own. God understands the deepest desires of our hearts. He also knows what is best and what we need, and He will provide according to His will.

“If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him.” James 1:5 WEB

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this beloved sister seeking Your will for her relationship. We pray that You grant her the strength and clarity to make decisions that align with Your word. We ask that You soften the heart and open the eyes of the other person in this relationship to see Your will for their life.

Lord, if it is Your will, guide them back to each other, renewed in love, spirit, and hope. Help them to remain pure and holy, fleeing from any hint of fornication. We pray for their future, that it would be a testament to Your glory and grace.
