Heavenly Father,
We come before You with hearts full of faith, lifting up Rethkagh's son-in-law who is struggling with depression and anxiety. Your Word reminds us in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Lord, we ask that You pour out Your peace upon Rethkagh's son-in-law, replacing his anxiety and depression with joy and hope. As it is written in Nehemiah 8:10, "The joy of Yahweh is your strength." May he find strength and comfort in Your presence, and may Your joy fill his heart and mind.
We trust in Your promise from Isaiah 41:10, "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." Uphold him, Lord, and guide him through this difficult time.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
