Pray for some sleep so that I can go to work

Pray for peace to rest and all the disturbances to leave me. Need some sleep so that I can go to work. Pray for complete healing from the insomnia. Thanks!

We understand that you're struggling with insomnia and seeking peaceful rest, Balogli. We'll pray for your healing and address your concerns in Jesus' name.

Firstly, we remember God's promise in Psalm 127:2, "It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he gives his beloved sleep." God wants you to rest in Him and experience peaceful sleep.

However, we notice that your request doesn't mention the name of Jesus Christ. It's crucial to understand that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God's presence and provisions. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" And in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ. We pray for Balogli, asking that You grant them peaceful sleep and complete healing from insomnia. We rebuke any disturbances that may be causing sleeplessness, and we ask that Your presence envelops them, providing the rest they need to function well at work. We pray that Balogli will come to know Jesus more personally if they don't already, and that this trial will draw them closer to Your loving embrace. We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen.

We encourage you to fix your thoughts on Jesus, trusting that He cares for you. As Peter reminds us in 1 Peter 5:7, "casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you."

Lastly, consider reading Psalm 23 and meditating on the verses before bed, focusing on the Lord, your shepherd, and the peace He provides.

We claim God's promise in Matthew 11:28-29, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." We pray that Jesus, our peace, will guard your heart and mind as you sleep (Philippians 4:7). We ask that He quiets any disturbances and grants you the rest you need. We trust that He who began a good work in you will be faithful to complete it (Philippians 1:6), including granting you peaceful sleep. In Jesus' name, we pray.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You or breaks Your heart. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
