Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother Jumaro who is struggling with social media addiction, particularly on WhatsApp. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention and strength to help him break free from this bondage. Your Word says in 1 Corinthians 10:13 that You will not let us be tempted beyond what we can bear, but when we are tempted, You will also provide a way out so that we can endure it.
Father, grant Jumaro the wisdom and self-control to manage his time wisely and to prioritize his relationship with You above all else. Help him to seek Your presence and find fulfillment in You rather than in constant online interactions. As it is written in Philippians 4:6-7, let him not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present his requests to You. And may Your peace, which transcends all understanding, guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
Lord, we pray that You fill the void that social media tries to occupy in his life with Your love, peace, and purpose. Help him to be sober-minded and vigilant, as 1 Peter 5:8 instructs, so that he may resist the distractions and temptations that come his way.
We trust in Your power to transform and renew his mind, as Romans 12:2 encourages us to be transformed by the renewing of our minds. May Jumaro find joy and satisfaction in spending time with You, in prayer, and in reading Your Word.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
