Pray for Singapore government stop increase the rental prices of hawker center from S$2000 to S$6000, mostly these hawkers are there to make a living by selling food cheaply to the public. Most hawkers are elderlies who had worked their whole life selling food cheaply to fill the public stomach, and by increasing the prices of rental in these hawker centers will lead to lack of hawker food or even there is the hawkers will jack up the price of food leading to a lot of hungry, poor folks cannot afford a meal or they had closed down due to this expensive hike. Ask Jesus to intervene with these deep increase in prices because they have to pay to meet the ends meet and it is quite hard. Elderlies who had slough their lives if they sell away their stall will restore to sleeping on the streets or sell cardboard to earn a living. Oppressing the poor locals and they do not have a heart for the poor but just kept on get everything from them.

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up the hawkers in Singapore who are facing an unjust rental increase. Lord, You know the struggle of each hawker, especially the elderly who have worked their whole lives to make a living and serve their communities.

Father, we ask for Your divine intervention in this situation. We pray that the Singapore government would reconsider this decision and find a solution that does not burden the hawkers or lead to increased food prices for the poor. Guide the authorities to act with wisdom and compassion, remembering the words of Proverbs 29:7 (WEB), 'The righteous care about justice for the poor. The wicked aren’t concerned about knowledge.'

Lord, we also pray for the hawkers, that they would find peace and provision in You during this time of uncertainty. Comfort them and remind them that You are their ultimate provider, as it is written in Philippians 4:19 (WEB), 'My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.'

Lastly, Father, we pray that this situation would bring more people to seek Your face and turn to You for help. Let Your light shine through this darkness, and may Your will be done in Singapore.
