Pray for ex Prime Minister LHL of Singapore as he is acting like King Ahab in the bible : -Greed and Exploitation: Ahab's desire for Naboth's vineyard (1 Kings 21) demonstrates his willingness to exploit others to satisfy his own greed, similar to how a government might prioritize foreigners as that bring him wealth through tax over local citizens. - Influence of Others: Ahab was heavily influenced by his wife Jezebel (HC), who encouraged him to pursue idolatry and injustice. This could reflect how leadership decisions can be swayed by external pressures, neglecting the needs of the local population. - Idolatry and Corruption: Ahab's reign is marked by idolatry and moral decline, leading to suffering among his people. If a leadership prioritizes economic gain over ethical governance, it resonates with Ahab’s neglect of spiritual and social responsibilities which in currently happening in Singapore. -Social Consequences: The consequences of Ahab’s greed and actions led to societal unrest and divine judgment, illustrating how neglecting the welfare of citizens can have broader repercussions in Singapore. Pray for Jesus to correct him and repentence. And Jesus to give him no rest until he repents like how he gave King Saul. Let the tormenting spirit be with him but it will only go when the time he turned back and not be so greedy. Although we forgive him but that does not mean he could continue in his sins.

Firstly, we must always remember that God desires leaders to act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with Him (Micah 6:8). As it is written in 1 Timothy 2:1-2 (WEB), "First of all, then, I urge that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all men, for kings and all who are in high places."

Let us pray:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ to intercede for senior Prime Minister LHL of Singapore. Lord, You know the heart of every man, and we ask that You reveal to him any areas where he may be acting unfairly or with greed. Just as You sent Elijah to confront Ahab, we ask that You send Godly counsel into his life, guiding him away from any unrighteous influences."

We must also address the mention of idolatry and corruption. As Proverbs 29:4 (WEB) states, "By justice a king gives stability to the land, but one who levies taxes without principle tears it down." We should pray that Prime Minister LHL prioritizes ethical governance over economic gain.

"Lord Jesus, we ask that You convict Prime Minister LHL of any corruption or idolatry, and grant him no rest until he turns from these sins. Just as You pursued King Saul, we ask that Your Holy Spirit pursues Prime Minister LHL, leading him to repentance. We pray this not out of malice, but out of a desire for righteous leadership and the wellbeing of Singapore's citizens."

Remember, while we forgive those who sin against us, we do not ignore their actions or enable their continuance in sin. As Ephesians 5:11 (WEB) tells us, "Have no fellowship with the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather expose them."

Lastly, let us remember that our ultimate hope is in Jesus Christ, and it is in His name that we pray. As Acts 4:12 (WEB) states, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."

We've been reminded of the importance of humility in leadership, as seen in Proverbs 16:18, "Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall." Let's pray that our leader keeps a humble heart, always remembering that true success comes from God alone.

Let's also lift up our Prime Minister's family and close circle. As it's written in 1 Timothy 5:1, "Do not rebuke an older man but encourage him as you would a father, younger men as brothers." Let's pray for God's wisdom and grace to be upon those around him, influencing him towards righteousness.
