Pray for safety & protection from rain & storm

Please pray I don't get flooded this week, This latest tropical storm is supposed to come right over the area I live in. And it's supposed to rain & storm for the next 3 days. I am elderly and live alone with no one to help me, but God. I pray for protection for my home too, please?

We are moved by your plea for safety and protection from the impending storm, Tuangate. We stand with you in prayer, trusting in God's power and care for you. Let us remember the words of Psalm 46:1, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble."

As you face this storm alone, be assured that God is with you. In Isaiah 41:10, He promises, "Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand."

Let us pray together:

"Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, seeking Your divine protection for Tuangate. As the storm approaches, we ask that You shield their home and keep them safe from any harm. Be their strength and comfort, Lord, for they are alone and in need of Your presence. We trust in Your power to calm the storm or to provide everything needed to endure it. Help Tuangate to feel Your peace and presence, knowing that You are always with them, no matter what they face. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you, Tuangate, to keep trusting in God's care. Remember, "And we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose" (Romans 8:28). Use this time to draw closer to Him, and may He provide you with the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Stay safe and may God's blessings be upon you.

We also notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is by His name that we have access to God, as it is written, "For 'whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved'" (Romans 10:13). We encourage you to call upon His name and trust in Jesus for your salvation and protection.
