We lift up Aelthal and Victor in prayer, seeking God's protection and provision during this challenging time. We stand with you both in the mighty name of Jesus, knowing that He is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1, WEB).
Firstly, we pray for Victor's safety as Hurricane Helene approaches. We ask, Heavenly Father, that You will be his shelter and protection. "For you will not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day; nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that wastes at noonday" (Psalm 91:5-6, WEB). We pray for the safety of all those in the path of this storm, trusting in Your power to calm the storms (Mark 4:39, WEB).
We also bring before You, Lord, Victor's financial struggles. We ask that You will provide a permanent, full-time job for him, so that he may be able to pay his bills and experience financial security. We remember Your promise, "But my God shall supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19, WEB). We pray for Victor's trust in You to be strengthened during this time of need.
In addition, we pray for Victor's mental health, that it may be restored and strengthened. We ask, Lord Jesus, that You will be his comfort and peace. "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28, WEB). We pray that Victor will find his rest in You, Jesus, and that his mind will be renewed day by day (Romans 12:2, WEB).
Aelthal, we commend you for praying in the name of Jesus, as it is through His name that we have access to the Father (John 14:6, WEB). We encourage you both to continue to trust in the Lord, even in the face of these storms. Remember that "all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose" (Romans 8:28, WEB).
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your protection, provision, and comfort for Victor and Aelthal. Guard Victor from the storm, provide for his financial needs, and bring peace to his mind. Be their strength and refuge, Lord. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
