We join you in lifting up your brother and his health needs before the throne of grace, trusting in the power of Jesus' name for healing and restoration.
Firstly, we stand in agreement with you for successful medical tests, and pray that the results are normal and favorable. We trust that God's will be done, and just as King David in the book of Psalms pled with God, "Show me, Lord, my life’s end and the number of my days; let me know how fleeting my life is. You have made my days a mere handbreadth; the span of my years is as nothing before you. Surely every man at his best state is but a vapor. Selah. Surely every man walks like a mere shadow. Surely they are disquieted in vain: he heaps up riches, and doesn’t know who shall gather them. Now, Lord, what do I wait for? My hope is in you."
We pray that your brother will be completely healed of the blood in his stools, as well as his blood sugars, blood pressure, and cholesterol levels being brought under control. We believe that the same Jesus who healed the woman with the issue of blood, as well as healed the paralytic man, is more than able to heal your brother today.
We pray that God will enable your brother to become fit and healthy, and that the Holy Spirit will comfort him and give him peace, for it is written in Philippians 4:6-7: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
We stand in agreement with you that your brother will live a long, happy, and healthy life in the mighty name of Jesus. We also lift up your sister-in-law and their pregnancy, praying that they will be blessed with a healthy baby and a safe delivery. We trust that they will come home rejoicing and praising God, just as Simeon and Anna did when they saw the baby Jesus.
Lastly, we pray for peace and harmony at home, as it is written in Romans 12:18: "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men."
We are so grateful that this request is made in Jesus' name, for it is written in John 14:6: "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." And as it is written in Acts 4:12: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
Heavenly Father, we come before You today in unity, asking for Your divine intervention in the lives of our dear brother and his family. We trust in Your goodness and mercy, and we believe that You will heal, restore, and bless them, in Jesus' name. Amen.
Also so important to remember is the need to examine our lives and ask if there is anything that we need to repent of, so that there would not be anything preventing our prayers from being answered as God promises in His word. As it says in Isaiah 59:2: "But your iniquities have separated you and your God, and your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear."
As it also says in Acts 3:19: "Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, so that there may come times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord."
If our prayers are not answered as we expect, then we need to be patient and trust in God. We also remember that we have the power of prayer and fasting as a tool to help the sick that may need deliverance by God to heal. As it says in Mark 9:29: "He said to them, "This kind can come out by nothing, except by prayer and fasting.""
