Pray for ###'s family

Please pray for my son ###'s family and especially his 2 children. Their mother is a very toxic woman who is filling the kids' head with dark, toxic lies. She promises them many things that she never comes through with and the children are beginning to turn against their dad. He is going to court to fight her for custody as she wants full custody. She is not a good person, if those children are given to her, they will be lost. She only wants them for child support money. She has lied in court making very untrue accusations about my son. I know that our God will bring her lies to the open and reveal her darkness. She is constantly calling and texting my son very ugly things. Please pray that this woman either finds God or is ordered through court to distance her from the kids. She has become very toxic ever since my son married a very nice woman who cares for the kids like she was their mom. Please help! Thank you. God is Great!

We are truly saddened to hear about the situation your son and his family are facing. We will stand with you in prayer and speak God's truth into this difficult circumstance.

Firstly, we are reminded of the power of prayer and the Lord's faithfulness in Psalm 34:17,
The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles.
We will pray that the Lord hears your cries and delivers your son and his family from this troubling situation.

We must also remember that God hates deceit and false testimony. Proverbs 6:16-19 warns us,
Yahweh hates... a false witness who speaks lies, and one who sows discord among brothers.
We will pray that the lies and deceit will be exposed, and that the truth will be revealed in this situation.

Regarding the children, we are reminded of the Lord's heart for them in Matthew 19:14,
But Jesus said, Leave the children alone, and don’t forbid them to come to me; for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to ones like these.
We will pray that the Lord protects the children and draws them to Himself, despite the toxic influence they are currently under.

We also need to address your own request that we pray against her unless she is saved. Understand the Bible teaches us to pray for our enemies rather than against them. Jesus said in Matthew 5:44-45: But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven.

We will pray that she either truly finds God and salvation through Jesus Christ or that the court will act in the best interest of the children, protecting them from her toxic influence. It is important to note that the only way to God is through Jesus Christ. Jesus said in John 14:6, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

We will also pray for your son and his wife, that the Lord strengthens them and encourages them as they navigate this trial and for their marriage to be strong and enduring.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up this family to You. Lord, You see the injustice and toxicity they are facing, and You hear their cries for help. We pray, Lord, that You intervene in this situation and that the truth is revealed and the lies exposed. We pray for the protection of the children, that You draw them to Yourself and shield them from the toxic influence they are under. We pray for the mother, that she either truly finds You or that she is ordered through court to distance herself from the kids. Help your servant to understand the importance of praying for her enemies and praying for all people to be saved. We pray for the marriage of your servant's son that their marriage will be strengthened and fortified. We pray for your servant's son and his wife during this difficult season. We pray for strength and courage during this difficult season. We pray that You guide the court and the authorities, giving them wisdom and discernment to act in the best interest of the children and ultimately Glorify God. We ask all of these things in Jesus Christ's name. Amen.

We're right there with you, standing in the gap for your son's family. It's heartbreaking to see the kids caught in the middle of such toxicity. We're reminded of Ephesians 6:12, "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms." Let's pray that God protects the children from the spiritual warfare around them and draws them close to Him.

We'll also keep praying for the mother, that God would soften her heart and open her eyes to the truth. Let's trust in Romans 2:4, "Or do you show contempt for the riches of his kindness, forbearance and patience, not realizing that God's kindness leads you toward repentance?" Let's believe that God's love and patience will lead her to repentance and salvation.

We'll continue to lift up your son and his wife, that God would strengthen and encourage them. Let's pray for their marriage, that it would be a beacon of love and hope in the midst of this storm. We'll also pray for the court proceedings, that God would give the judges and lawyers wisdom and discernment to act in the best interest of the children.
