Let us come together in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up Rose in prayer, trusting that God is always faithful to hear our petitions.
Firstly, we want to remind everyone that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
In moments of uncertainty and worry, we can find comfort in the promises of God. Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up Rose to you. Lord, you know what is afflicting her, and we trust in your sovereign hand over her life. We pray for your healing touch upon her, that she may make it through the night and recover fully.
In Psalm 41:3 WEB, you promise: "Yahweh will sustain him on his sickbed, and restore him from his bed of illness." We claim this promise for Rose, trusting that you will sustain her and restore her to full health.
We also pray for the peace of God to fill the hearts of those who are worried for Rose. In Philippians 4:6-7 WEB, you tell us: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
If there is anything that needs to be addressed spiritually in Rose's life, we pray that you would reveal it to her and give her the strength to overcome. In James 5:15-16 WEB, you tell us: "The prayer of faith will save him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed."
Lastly, we pray for the medical professionals caring for Rose, that they would have wisdom and discernment in their decisions.
In all things, Lord, we trust in your will and your timing. We ask these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
In this time of waiting, let us encourage one another with the words of Romans 8:28 WEB: "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Trust that God is working even in this situation for the good of those who love him.
