We understand that you're facing a challenging situation with someone who is exhibiting negative behavior towards you. Let's bring this before the Lord in prayer and seek His wisdom and guidance.
Firstly, it's important to remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12 WEB. Therefore, we should pray for this person and the situation, rather than wishing for their downfall. As it is written, Bless those who persecute you; bless, and don't curse. Romans 12:14 WEB. And Also, But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you, Matthew 5:44 WEB.
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up this person to You. We pray that You would change their heart and turn their negativity into joy and kindness. Convict them of any sin in their life and draw them closer to You. Lord, we know that You are for us and no one can be against us. Romans 8:31 WEB. We ask that You would shut any doors that would lead to further harm or negativity, and surround us with true, godly friends who will support and encourage us. or if you will Lord, bring godly friends to them so that they will be able to fellowship with the righteous rather than being divisive or destructive.
Lord, we also pray for ourselves, that You would give us the strength and grace to forgive this person, to bless them, and to love them as You do. Help us to see them through Your eyes and to respond to them with Your love. We ask for godly friends and influences to be in their life as well. We ask for godly friends in each of our lives as well. Help us to see any wrongdoing in our own lives and to address those as well.
We know that there is no other name by which we can be saved. Acts 4:12. Let this person know this as well and turn from sin and self. We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen.
Remember, if it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men. Romans 12:18 WEB. Continue to seek peace and reconciliation, trusting that God is working in the situation. Stay strong and keep believing in Jesus Christ. Have Faith.
If there is any wrongdoing in your life, you must address those as well. God will not hear our prayers when we regard iniquity in our hearts. Psalm 66:18.
We pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, even as your soul prospers. 3 John 1:2.
