We are truly sorry to hear about your illness and appreciate your sincere request for prayer. Firstly, we would like to address the fact that we only have access to God and are saved through one person, Jesus Christ. It is by His name and His name alone that we can approach God, not through a general plea to a higher power. It is only through His Son that God has provided the way for our salvation. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.
Celeorxendior, in your prayer request, you mentioned that you have been through a terrible sickness and feel as if you will never recover. We want to encourage you and remind you that God is the ultimate healer. As it is written in Psalm 103:2-3, "Bless Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." We serve a God who not only forgives our sins but also heals our diseases.
We also want to address your feelings of hopelessness. Remember, God is our hope and strength. As it is written in Isaiah 40:29, "He gives power to the faint. To him who has no might, he increases strength." Do not be discouraged, for God is with you and He will give you the strength you need to overcome this illness.
We also want to acknowledge your repentant heart. It is wonderful that you have recognized and turned away from the wrong things you have done in your life. As it is written in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Now, let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Celeorxendior to You. Lord, we ask that You touch his body and heal him from this terrible sickness. Give him the strength and endurance to overcome this illness. Lord, we also thank You for the repentant heart that You have given him. We ask that You continue to work in his life and draw him closer to You. Help him to never complain again about anything or take his health for granted. In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you to continue to trust in God and His promises. Do not give up hope, for God is with you and He will see you through this difficult time. Remember, it is not by your own power, but by Jesus Christ. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. As it is written in Hebrews 12:2, "looking to Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising its shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God."
