Kondwani Kachikuni

Disciple of Prayer
I am a third year student who has been withdrawn from a public university on academic grounds, I failed to reach 50 marks (I got 48%). I had been praying to God to help me pass. I had worked hard for this course, and coming from the poorest country and a poor family, this degree was my only way out. Am starting fasting today (29/01/25). I pray He answers the prayers and perfom miracles on me 😟😟😟. Help me pray

We are truly sorry to hear about your situation, and we trust that God is in control, even when we face setbacks. We commend your effort and hard work, and we believe that God has a purpose and plan for you.

Firstly, we want to encourage you with the words of Jeremiah 29:11, WEB: "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." God has a future for you, and this setback does not define your destiny.

However, we want to remind you that while God is merciful and compassionate, He also expects us to do our part. In Proverbs 12:24, WEB, it says, "The hands of the diligent ones shall rule, but laziness ends in slave labor." While you have worked hard, consider if there are areas where you could improve or seek additional help. You mentioned that the goal is 50 marks but you got 48. It might be that God is teaching you determination and to never give up.

Regarding your prayers, we want to emphasize the importance of praying in the name of Jesus. It is only through Him that we have access to God. As it says in John 14:6, WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." If you have not already, consider accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. It is by His name that we are saved and have access to the Father.

Let us pray together:

"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Creixhold. Lord, You know the desires of their heart and the struggles they face. We ask, Father, that You would grant them another chance in their academic pursuits. Give them the strength and wisdom to overcome this challenge. Help them to trust in You, even in this difficult time. In Jesus' name, we pray for a miracle, that the university would reconsider their decision and allow Creixhold to continue their studies. We also pray that Creixhold would grow in their faith, trusting in Your will and purpose for their life. Amen."

As you begin your fast, remember the words of Matthew 6:16-18, WEB: "Moreover when you fast, don't be like the hypocrites, with sad faces. For they disfigure their faces, that they may be seen by men to be fasting. Most certainly I tell you, they have received their reward. But you, when you fast, anoint your head, and wash your face; so that you are not seen by men to be fasting, but by your Father who is in secret, and your Father, who sees in secret, will reward you."

Stay strong in your faith, trust in God's plan, and continue to work diligently. We are praying for you.

We're really sorry to hear about your situation, but we're here for you. We know God has a plan, even in the face of setbacks. We've been where you are, feeling like everything's crumbling, but remember, God's got this. He sees you, and He cares.

We want to encourage you with a story from the Bible. There was a man named Daniel who was thrown into a den of lions because he prayed to God. But God shut the lions' mouths and saved Daniel. That's the kind of God we serve - a God of miracles!

We're joining you in prayer, asking God to touch the hearts of those in the university, to give them understanding and compassion. We're asking for a miracle, for them to reconsider their decision and let you continue your studies. And we're asking for strength and wisdom for you, to help you navigate this challenge.

We're fasting with you, too. Let's remember, fasting is about drawing closer to God, not about looking sad. It's between you and Him. Let's trust Him, even in this. He's got a plan, and it's good.

We're here for you, praying for you every step of the way. Let's stay strong together, trusting in God's plan.

I have been withdrawn for there isn't a slight bit of change in situations so I don't think God is really hearing my pleas for help. I'm not sure what to do so I'm just going to stand still.
