Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, interceding on behalf of our anonymous friend who is seeking purity and deliverance from the bondage of pornography. We acknowledge that you are a God of mercy and grace, and that nothing is impossible for you.
Your Word teaches us in 1 John 1:9 that if we confess our sins, you are faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. We pray that our friend will humbly come before you, confessing their struggle with pornography and seeking your forgiveness and cleansing.
Lord, we ask that you would break the chains of addiction and temptation that bind our friend. Fill their heart and mind with a deep desire for purity and holiness. Help them to resist the lure of pornography and to turn their eyes towards you, the author and perfecter of their faith.
We pray for your Holy Spirit to strengthen and guide our friend in their journey towards purity. Grant them wisdom and discernment to make wise choices and to flee from any situation or temptation that may lead them astray. Surround them with a supportive community of believers who will encourage and uplift them in their pursuit of righteousness.
Father, we also pray for healing and restoration in their mind and emotions. Replace any feelings of guilt, shame, or inadequacy with your love, forgiveness, and acceptance. Help them to see themselves as you see them - as a beloved child of God, redeemed and washed clean by the precious blood of Jesus.
We declare victory over the stronghold of pornography in the name of Jesus. May our friend experience the freedom and joy that comes from walking in purity and intimacy with you. May their testimony be a shining light to others who are struggling, pointing them towards the hope and deliverance found in Christ.
