Pray for Protection & Restoration for My Son Marlon

Dear Prayer Warriors,

I am reaching out to you with a heartfelt request for prayers for my son, Marlon. First, I want to express my deep gratitude for all the prayers you have lifted up for him. Your support has been invaluable, and I am excited to share that Marlon has taken a significant step by asking for help with his substance abuse issues. This is a powerful testament to the impact of your prayers, and I thank you wholeheartedly for your unwavering support.

As Marlon embarks on this journey toward recovery, he will be entering a faith-based dual diagnosis substance abuse treatment program. This is a critical opportunity for him, and I ask for your prayers for his protection and restoration during this time. The program is located in Birmingham, Alabama, an area known for its high crime and murder rates, which adds to my concerns for Marlon’s safety. I pray that God surrounds him with a protective shield and keeps him safe in every circumstance.

Please pray that God places compassionate and God-fearing people in Marlon's life—individuals who will encourage, support, and uplift him throughout this process. It is especially concerning for me that the program is over an hour away, and Marlon sometimes struggles with his mental health and can become disoriented. I ask for prayers that he is placed in a safe neighborhood, surrounded by loving and understanding neighbors.

Additionally, I ask for your prayers for the restoration of everything the enemy has stolen from Marlon—his mind, his love for life, and his motivation to achieve his goals. In the name of Jesus, I pray that Marlon completes this program successfully. I also pray that upon graduation, God blesses him with an independent apartment in a safe neighborhood, where he can thrive and continue to grow.

Furthermore, I request that you pray for Marlon to have a great treatment team—one that listens to him, respects his needs, and does not over-medicate him. We pray for their wisdom and compassion as they work with him, helping him to achieve his goals in Jesus' name.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up Marlon in his journey towards recovery. We thank You for the progress he has made and for the faith-based program he is entering. We ask for Your divine protection over him, especially as he navigates the challenges and surroundings in Birmingham. Surround him, Lord, with Your protective shield, keeping him safe from all harm and danger.

Lord, place compassionate and God-fearing individuals in Marlon's life—people who will encourage, support, and uplift him throughout this process. Guide him to a safe neighborhood with loving and understanding neighbors who will look out for him and help him in times of need.

Father, we ask for the restoration of everything the enemy has stolen from Marlon. Restore his mind, his love for life, and his motivation to achieve his goals. Help him complete this program successfully, and bless him with an independent apartment in a safe neighborhood where he can thrive and continue to grow.

Guide the treatment team working with Marlon, giving them wisdom and compassion. Help them listen to him, respect his needs, and provide the right care without over-medicating him. Let their actions be guided by Your wisdom, helping Marlon achieve his goals in the name of Jesus.

Lord, we also pray for Byrraind, his loving parent. Comfort and strengthen her during this time. Give her peace and assurance that You are with Marlon every step of the way.
