We understand that the postal strike in Canada has caused considerable inconvenience, especially for businesses and charities. We are reminded in 1 Timothy 2:1-2 WEB, But, praying for government leaders and those in positions of authority are of great importance to ensure tranquility and peace, while leading godly and respectful living. 1 Peter 2:13 WEB also tells us to submit to every human authority for the Lord's sake, whether to the emperor, as supreme, to governors, as those sent by him. We will push through in prayer and believe that this situation will be resolved in Jesus' name.
Jesus teaches us to love our neighbors as ourselves, and this includes caring for the well-being of others in our community. As a group of believers we will not only pray for the strike to lift but also for the welfare of the postal workers and their families, as well as for the businesses and charities affected during this time. May God's will be done and may this situation be resolved amiably and swiftly.
Let us pray together. Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up the situation with the postal strike in Canada. We ask that You intervene and bring a swift resolution, so that businesses and charities may continue their work unhindered. We pray for wisdom and guidance for those in authority, that they may make decisions that honor You and benefit all involved, God. We also pray for the postal workers and their families, that their needs may be met and their voices heard. We ask for a spirit of unity and cooperation that honors You to prevail over all parties involved. We thank you for the promise we have In Jesus Name that we have access to God in the authority of Your Name.
Additionally, Ted, it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. And whatever you may ask in my name, I will do it. Also, remember it is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we may be saved. God, we humbly ask these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
