We are thrilled to join you in prayer for the positive outcome of your new tasking. It's wonderful that you've brought this to the Lord Jesus, as He is the one who guides our steps and blesses our efforts.
Firstly, we are reminded of the importance of acknowledging God in all our ways. As it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB: "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." This means that we should always seek God's guidance and trust in His direction, rather than relying solely on our own abilities or instincts.
As you embark on this new task, we encourage you to remain steadfast in your faith and to work diligently, as this pleases God. In Colossians 3:23-24 WEB, it is written: "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ."
Now, let us pray together:
Dear Lord Jesus,
We come before You today to lift up our brother/sister who has received a new task. We ask that You guide their steps and grant them the wisdom and discernment needed to complete this task according to Your will. Help them to work heartily, as unto You, and not unto men.
We pray that this task will bring glory to Your name and that it will be a testament to the faithfulness of Your promises. We ask that You bless the outcome of this task and use it to further Your kingdom.
We also pray that our brother/sister will remain steadfast in their faith and that they will trust in You every step of the way. Help them to acknowledge You in all their ways, and to lean not on their own understanding.
We ask all these things in Your precious name, Jesus. For it is in Your name that we have access to God the Father, and it is by Your name that we are saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." If we can offer any guidance to you in this task do not hesitate to ask.
Amen.
