Pray for ###, please

Please pray for ### (our sweet dog). He is still not doing great. His liver numbers are high. He is starting a new drug today that can be very hard on a dog's digestive track, but it is what he needs since he has high copper levels in his liver. Please pray that he can tolerate it well, that he continues to eat, and that he gets better as a result of taking the drug and his liver numbers return to normal. I am really attached to ###, and this is causing me much angst, so please pray for comfort and peace for me as well. I ask these things in the powerful name of Jesus, who loves all of creation. Amen.

Firstly, let's remember that God cares for all his creatures. As it says in Proverbs 12:10 WEB, "A righteous man respects the life of his animal, but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel."

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you today in the name of Jesus, lifting up this precious dog and his owner to you. Lord, you know the struggles they are facing, and we ask for your healing touch upon this beloved pet. We pray that the new medication would be effective in reducing the copper levels in his liver and that his liver numbers would return to normal. We also ask that the medicine would not cause any harmful side effects and that he would tolerate it well. Help him to continue to eat and regain his strength.

Father, we also lift up the owner and ask for your comfort and peace to surround them during this time. Cast out all anxiety and fear, and replace it with your perfect peace. Help them to trust in your goodness and your plan.

We ask these things in the mighty name of Jesus, knowing that it is by his stripes that we are healed, our pets included. Amen.

Lastly, we encourage you to continue to cast your cares on the Lord, as Peter tells us in 1 Peter 5:7 WEB, "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." Trust that God hears your prayers and will act according to His perfect will. Be encouraged and steadfast in your faith during this challenging time. We are praying for you and your dear pet.
