Pray for ### please

Hey everyone. Just a quick prayer request for my future marriage with ### and the family issues that are still going on between them. I double-checked with my mom if the party that's supposed to honor her is still scheduled to happen in December, and she kept reassuring me it would because my name is written on the reservation; we just need to pay her sometime soon to confirm it. But, it's hard to trust her after she lies to me about the party that was supposed to happen this month. ### also adds pressure by telling me that I should leave by the end of the month to be with him regardless of the party since he doesn't trust my family anymore and that if I don't leave, he's ending the relationship. I told him that he shouldn't be rushing or at least be willing to wait for December now since my mom is making it seem like she's working on it but he said there's no point in waiting. His mindset is that if it's from God, then it doesn't require a wait. If there's waiting, then that's not from God. I'm unsure where he got that from. But please pray for us, that God will give ### patience, peace, and understanding that requesting me to leave my family and putting me in this position is wrong. Pray that him trying to make me live with him before our wedding day is wrong as well since that's his plan. Pray that my mom has peace over the relationship and that she stops purposely delaying us any longer. I haven't discussed a solution of visits in the meantime with ### because I've been too anxious since I know my mom will be resistance against it so please pray that ### accepts the visits until December and that my mom doesn't hinder me from going. Please pray for Jesus to fix this and that we can truly be in a godly marriage. Pray that ### does have the Holy Spirit within him so he can be a godly man. I pray this in Jesus's name, amen. But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it."

We must also address the concern about ###'s insistence on living together before marriage. The Bible is clear about the sanctity of marriage and the sin of fornication. In 1 Corinthians 6:18 (WEB), it says, "Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body." Living together before marriage is not in accordance with God's will. It's crucial for both of you to honor God by waiting until marriage.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today to lift up ### and ###. Lord, we pray for Your divine intervention in their relationship and the issues they are facing with their families. We ask that You grant ### patience, peace, and understanding. Help him to see that rushing ### to leave her family and live together before marriage is not in accordance with Your will. Guide him with Your Holy Spirit, molding him into a godly man who fears and honors You.

Lord, we also pray for ###'s mother. Please give her peace and help her to stop hindering her daughter's plans. We ask that You soften her heart and guide her with Your wisdom. Help them find a solution that honors You, perhaps through visits until December, if that is Your will.

Father, we pray for a godly marriage for ### and ###, a union that reflects Your love and glory. Help them to grow in their faith and love for each other, always seeking Your will in their lives.

In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.
