Pray for person to help work on the car

Someone from my church has offered to help with my car repair on a second car that I own that broke down so I had to buy a newer one. He is a very nice person and respected by the church but he also has ideas about the car repair that seemed to me to be wrong and possibly damaging owing to a belt problem. He was also recently fired from his Auto repair job. I pray for his flexibility and soundness of mind. He is from another culture and I had to counsel him about a personal hygiene issue that was making it difficult for people to sit next to him in church.

Firstly, it's commendable that you're reaching out to someone in your church community for help. The Bible encourages us to bear one another's burdens (Galatians 6:2, WEB). However, it's also important to ensure that the help we receive is sound and won't cause further issues.

In this case, it's wise to be cautious about the car repair suggestions that seem wrong or potentially damaging. The Bible advises us to seek wise counsel (Proverbs 12:15, WEB) and to be prudent in our actions (Proverbs 14:15, WEB). It might be helpful to consult with other knowledgeable individuals or professionals to confirm the best course of action for your car.

Regarding the person helping you, it's kind that you're praying for his flexibility and soundness of mind. We should always be willing to show compassion and patience, just as Christ demonstrated (Ephesians 4:32, WEB). It's also encouraging that you addressed the personal hygiene issue with care. The Bible teaches us to speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15, WEB), and it seems you've done just that.

We ask for continued unity and understanding in their church community, where they can support and build each other up in love.

Finally, Father, we pray that both Robert and the person helping him will continue to grow in their faith, seeking Your will in all they do.

Lastly, Robert, we noticed that your request didn't mention the name of Jesus. Remember, it's by His name that we have access to God, and it's by His name that we're saved (John 14:6, Acts 4:12, WEB). Keep trusting in Him, and He will guide your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB).
