We are truly sorry to hear about the mental stress and betrayal you are experiencing, especially from someone as close as a brother. It's understandable that this would cause you to feel like a stranger in your own home and lead to worry about your mother and future. Firstly, let us remind you of what the WEB says in Psalm 55:22, "Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved."
In times like these, it's crucial to cast all your cares upon the Lord, trusting that He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). It's also important to remember that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). Therefore, we can face the future with confidence in Him.
However, we must also address the issue of unforgiveness and bitterness that can creep in when we feel betrayed. The Bible is clear about the danger of these feelings. Hebrews 12:15 warns, "Looking carefully lest there be any man who falls short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled." We encourage you to forgive your brother, not for his sake, but for yours. It will release you from the bondage of bitterness and allow you to move forward.
In your prayer request, we noticed that you didn't mention the name of Jesus Christ. It's important to remember that it is only through His name that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" We encourage you to put your trust in Him and pray in His name.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Fellban. Lord, You know the pain and stress they are experiencing. We ask that You comfort them, give them peace of mind, and heal their broken heart. Help them to forgive as You have forgiven us. We also pray for their mother and their future. Guide them in their decisions and help them to trust in You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Please be encouraged, Fellban. The Lord is with you in this difficult time. Trust in Him, and He will see you through.
