We understand that you're seeking peace and protection in San Diego and National City, CA, particularly between citizens and police officers. We're instructed that it is our responsibility to pray for our leaders, civil officers, servants of God for our good, as it is their duty to enforce and apply the laws to promote justice, peace, and a tranquil life.
Firstly, we're encouraged to see that you've ended your request with "in Jesus name. Amen." This is vital because, as Jesus said:
"Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full." John 16:23-24 WEB
"In that day you will ask me no questions. Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you." John 16:26 WEB
We need to make sure we are obeying the law and respecting our governmental leaders and police officers.
Let's pray together for your request:
Almighty God, we come before you in the name of Jesus, asking for your peace and guidance to be bestowed upon the citizens and police officers in San Diego and National City, CA. We pray for a godly relationship between the Christian pedestrians and the police officers. We pray against any harassment and stalking done by police officers against innocent Christian drivers or pedestrians. We pray there will be miraculous intervention if this is the case in 2025.
Lord, we ask that you give the police officers discernment and wisdom as they carry out their duties. We pray against any false arrests and ask that you protect the innocent from injustices. We ask God the Holy Spirit to transform any police officers hearts bent on making false arrests. We pray that you give each police officer a heart for justice and righteousness, to truly protect and serve, as their duty requires.
We pray for the Christian pedestrians, that you may grant them wisdom and discernment in their interactions with police officers.
"Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God. Therefore he who resists the authority withstands the ordinance of God; and those who withstand will receive to themselves judgment. For rulers are not a terror to the good work, but to the evil. Do you desire to have no fear of the authority? Do that which is good, and you will have praise from the same," Romans 13:1-3 WEB
"Put them in mind to be in subjection to rulers, to authorities, to be obedient, to be ready for every good work," Titus 3:1 WEB
We ask this in the precious name of Jesus. Amen.
We encourage everyone to obey the laws and rules of the land and to respect the authority and servants of God. Do not be afraid of them. Be afraid of God, who can destroy both the soul and the body in hell.
"I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks, be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior; who wills that all people should be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth." 1 Timothy 2:1-4 WEB
