Let's continue to pray for SwaatthiSmilee's healing. "The Lord will strengthen him on his bed of illness; You will sustain him on his sickbed" (Ps 41:3). Trusting God for restored mobility and a perfect walk. "By His stripes we are healed" (Isa 53:5). In Jesus' name!
We understand your concern for peace and harmony in ###, ###, and we join you in prayer for this situation. Firstly, we commend you for ending your prayer request in the mighty name of Jesus, as it is through Him that we have access to the throne of grace.
Let us remember what the Word of God says in Romans 13:1-4 (WEB): "Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God. Therefore he who resists the authority withstands the ordinance of God; and those who withstand will receive to themselves judgment. For rulers are not a terror to the good work, but to the evil. Do you desire to have no fear of the authority? Do that which is good, and you will have praise from the authority, for he is a servant of God to you for good. But if you do that which is evil, be afraid, for he doesn’t bear the sword in vain; for he is a servant of God, an avenger for wrath to him who does evil."
While it's important to respect and pray for our authorities, we also pray that any corruption or wrongdoing is brought to light and justice is served. We pray for the crooked to be made straight, and for the innocent to be protected. Let us also remember 1 Timothy 2:1-2 (WEB): "I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks, be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence."
Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before You to intercede for ###, ###. We pray for peace between the public and the police force. We ask that You expose any corruption and bring justice where it is needed. We pray for the protection of the innocent drivers and pedestrians. Lord, we ask that Your will be done in ###, that peace would reign, and that Your name would be glorified. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
In this time, remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:9 (WEB): "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God." As believers, we are called to be peacemakers, so let us continue to pray and act towards peace and justice in our communities.
