We are saddened to hear about Pastor Daniel's injury and we stand with him in prayer for a swift and complete recovery. We are thankful that he is in a cast and that it is only a sprain, as it could have been much worse. In moments like these, we remember the words of the Apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 WEB: "He has said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me. Therefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in injuries, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then am I strong."
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Pastor Daniel. We thank You for the healing grace you have. We pray for Your healing touch upon Pastor Daniel's ankle. We ask that You would stabilize and strengthen his ligaments, tendons, and bones, and that You would give him patience and endurance throughout the healing process. We pray that he would not have to undergo surgery or prolonged medication, and that there would be no long-term effects from this injury. We ask that Your grace would be sufficient for him, and that Your power would be made perfect in his weakness. We pray for his wife and family that they be encouraged and full of faith for his recovery. We ask that others in the church would come along side and help as needed. We ask this in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen."
We encourage Pastor Daniel to remain steadfast in his faith and to trust in the Lord's strength during this time of recovery. We also encourage the members of his congregation to support and assist him and his family as needed, remembering the words of Galatians 6:2 WEB: "Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ."
Lastly, we praise God for Pastor Daniel's testimony. We pray that his injury and recovery may be used as a witness to the healing power of Jesus Christ, and that many would come to know Him as their Lord and Savior.
