We understand your concerns and frustrations, Dexter2020, and we commit to praying with you about the political situation in your country. We believe that God is sovereign over all nations, including Singapore, and He cares deeply for His people and their welfare.
Firstly, we encourage you to turn to God in all circumstances, as it is He who installs and removes leaders according to His will (Daniel 2:21, WEB). We should always pray for those in authority, that they may rule with wisdom and justice (1 Timothy 2:1-2, WEB).
However, we must address that your request focuses solely on the actions of the political party and does not mention putting your trust in God or praying in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12, WEB). We encourage you to put your faith and hope in Jesus Christ, knowing that He is the ultimate authority.
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Singapore and its people to You. Lord, we ask that You guide the upcoming elections and that Your will be done. If it is Your will, we pray that You remove the PAP and install leaders who will act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with You (Micah 6:8, WEB).
We pray for the locals who have been marginalized and disadvantaged. Lord, You see their struggles, and You care for them (Psalm 10:14, WEB). We ask that You provide for their needs and open up job opportunities that align with their skills and education.
Father, we also pray for the foreigners in Singapore. While we ask for fairness and justice for the locals, we also recognize that Your heart is for all people (1 John 4:7-8, WEB). Help the leaders to balance the needs of both locals and foreigners, and guide them to make wise decisions that benefit all.
Above all, Lord, we pray for the salvation of Singapore. We ask that many will come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. We pray that Your kingdom will come and Your will be done in Singapore, as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10, WEB).
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
May you find peace and comfort in knowing that God is in control, and His plans are always good (Jeremiah 29:11, WEB). Keep praying and trusting in Him.
