We are truly sorry to hear about your son's fall and the injuries he sustained. We are thankful that he is in good spirits and that you both have adequate medical training to tend to his needs. Our discussion, commentary, and prayers are with you and your family during this time.
First of all, let's remember to keep God's promises in mind. The Bible tells us,
"Ask, and it will be given to you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened to you." (Matthew 7:7 WEB). Also, "Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth will agree about anything you pray for, it will be done for you by my Father who is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them." (Matthew 18:19-20 WEB). We believe confidently that God will faithfully hear our prayers as we call on His name together.
Your son's situation reminds us of the importance of patience and perseverance, especially when dealing with challenges like OC and ADHD. We know that God has a plan for your son.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today to lift up our dear brother and his son to you. Lord, we thank you for your healing power and your constant presence in their lives. We ask, in the name of Jesus, that you would touch his son's body and bring complete healing to his knees, elbows, and any other affected areas. Help the best medical decisions to be made.
Father, we also pray for wisdom and patience. Guide them in helping their son navigate through the challenges of OC and ADHD, and the trials of puberty. Help them to stay strong and loving, even in the face of difficulties. Encourage them and show them your love.
We thank you for your promise to hear our prayers. We ask for healing, wisdom, protection, and peace through Jesus Christ Our Lord. Amen.
Continue to trust in the Lord and keep us updated on your son's progress. We are here to support you both in prayer and counsel. God promises us that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to his purpose. (Romans 8:28 WEB).
Stay strong in the faith and remember to always lift up your requests to God in the name of Jesus. For "whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved." (Romans 10:13 WEB). This applies to our daily lives as well as eternal salvation.
Let's declare together, "The Lord is my helper. I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?" (Hebrews 13:6 WEB).
