We join with you in prayer, seeking God's will for your family in your time of need. We are thankful that you have acknowledged Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, because it is only in His name that we have access to God the Father. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. That is why we pray in Jesus' name. As a group, we are encouraged to see your desire for peace, harmony, love, and respect in your home.
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up this family for their in-laws. We pray for peace, harmony, love, and respect to fill their home. Help them to live in unity, bearing with one another in love, and being eager to maintain this unity. We ask for mutual love and respect. We pray for a heart of forgiveness, that no one would be offended at trivial things. Help them to put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience, each one bearing with the other in love.
We are grateful for the help that the in-laws have given our brother and sister, and we ask that You, Lord, would send assistance to take care of the baby. We pray that the husband and wife would be able to independently care for their baby well. We ask for supernatural peace and joy to fill their home. Let the peace of Christ rule in their hearts. We pray all these things in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. All glory to Him forever and ever. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to walk in love, putting others before yourselves. Remember that love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. Love does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things, and love never ends. As you walk in love, you will be a light to your in-laws and all those around you.
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Jesus Christ. And remember the words of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
