We join with you in lifted hearts, bringing your requests before our loving Father. We are reminded of the words of Jesus in Matthew 18:20 WEB, For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them.
Let us pray together.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this family and their precious baby. Thank You, Lord, for the gift of this child, and we pray for Your continued blessing upon them.
Father, we ask that You help this baby thrive in every way. We pray for weight gain, peaceful sleep, strength, and good health. Guide this mother and father, Lord, as they care for their little one. Give them wisdom, patience, and calm in all circumstances. Help them to be loving and nurturing, just as You are with us. We are reminded of the words of Paul in Colossians 3:21 WEB, Fathers, don't provoke your children, so that they won't be discouraged. This should also be true for mothers as well.
We pray for Your Holy Spirit to dwell richly in their home, filling every room with Your peace, harmony, and love. Help this family to always keep Jesus at the center of their lives, growing together in Your grace. May the words of Deuteronomy 6:5-7 WEB, You shall love Yahweh your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your might. These words which I command you today shall be on your heart; and you shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up.
In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
We encourage you both to continue being the godly parents that God has called you to be. Remember that children are a blessing from the Lord, and He has entrusted this precious life to your care. Rely on His strength and wisdom, and He will guide you every step of the way. Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight in Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB.
Lastly, as parents and those called to give them advice, do not forget the words of Proverbs 22:6 WEB, Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it. May you both find joy in your journey as parents, knowing that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.
