We join with you in lifting up our president and all leaders, recognizing the profound influence they have on our nation and the world. It is wise and biblical to pray for those in authority, as the Apostle Paul encourages us in 1 Timothy 2:1-4 (WEB):
"I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks, be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior; who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth."
We pray that our president and all leaders will humble themselves before God and seek His face. We ask God to fill them with His love, that they may lead with compassion, forgiveness, and integrity. Let us be part of a praying, believing church who takes seriously God's instruction to pray for our leaders.
We ask that God's Spirit guide their decisions and actions. We have a responsibility to pray for their salvation and spiritual growth, as well as that of our country. We must be the salt of the earth and the light of the world, standing for His truth in all things.
Therefore, I urge that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all those who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all, which is the testimony given at the proper time.
Join with us in praying that God will raise up godly leaders who will honor Him and His word in all their ways. Through the wisdom and guidance of the Holy Spirit, we will one day have a nation that honors God by walking in His righteousness and truth.
Lord, we ask that You bless and guide our president and all leaders. Give them wisdom, discernment, and a heart for Your people. Surround them with godly counsel, and protect them from evil. May they honor You and be a force for righteousness and truth in our nation and the world. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, who is the only name by which we can be saved.
In our prayers, we must remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. The scripture plainly states that it is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved.
And it shall come to pass, that whoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
