Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our marriage to You. Lord, we feel so disconnected and distant from each other. Our hearts are heavy with the weight of emotional and physical intimacy that seems to have vanished. We are struggling with financial difficulties and both of us are battling depression. Every day feels like an insurmountable challenge, and thoughts of giving up are overwhelming.
Lord, Your Word says in Philippians 4:6-7, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." We ask for Your peace to fill our hearts and minds. Help us to cast all our burdens upon You, for we know You care for us.
Father, we pray for healing and restoration in our marriage. Help us to reconnect emotionally and physically. Give us the strength to communicate openly and honestly with each other. We ask for Your provision in our financial struggles and for Your light to shine in the darkness of our depression.
Lord, we need Your guidance and wisdom. James 1:5 says, "If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you." We ask for Your wisdom to navigate these difficult times and to find a path forward that honors You.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
