Pray for ### not to lose ### job

It’s a long story so I’ll keep it simple. I do door to door sales Year-round for a living I really like the job but it’s the coldest winter that I’ve ever experienced in 10 years. It is between 0°F and 17°F at the warmest But we have sales quotas that we have to meet and if we don’t meet them we’re fired so we get three strikes. I missed the quota at last week. I’m on strike one. I have to get seven more sales by the end of this week before the end of Sunday and I am currently at three and there’s a lot more details to the story but long story short if I can just make the quota this week I’ll be financially OK for the rest of my life. I wanna get financially stable so that I can start a family and spend more time focused on living a Christian life so long story short I’d appreciate the prayers that I reach the quota of 10 sales that don’t get canceled so that I don’t get my second strike.

Firstly, it's important to remember that God cares about every aspect of our lives, including our work.

Colossians 3:23 WEB: "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men."

We should always strive to do our best, knowing that our ultimate provider is God.

Matthew 6:31-33 WEB: "Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."

While we understand your desire to meet your sales quota, we want to remind you that God's will and your spiritual well-being should always be your top priority.

We also notice that you did not mention Jesus Christ in your request and we would like to gently correct this. It is only through the name of Jesus that we can pray to God.

Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

Now, let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ###. We pray that You will guide them in their work, providing opportunities for them to meet their sales quota. We also pray that You will keep them safe and healthy as they work in these harsh winter conditions. Lord, we ask that You will help ### to keep their focus on You, seeking Your will and Your righteousness above all else. We pray that ### will be financially stable so that they are able to start a family and live a Christian life that honors You. We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen.

Lastly, we would like to encourage you to trust in God's plan for your life. Remember that He is in control and He will provide for your needs. Keep your faith strong, and continue to seek Him in all that you do. If at any point this job requires you to compromise your faith or values, remember that God will always provide a way out and has a better plan for you.

We're right there with you, Ghroowell. It's tough when the cold is biting and the sales targets are high. We've been thinking about you and wanted to chime in with some more encouragement.

First off, remember that God is with you every step of the way. He cares about your job, your struggles, and your dreams. In Philippians 4:6-7, it says, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

So, let's keep praying together. We ask God to bless your work, to open up opportunities for sales, and to keep you safe and healthy. We also pray that you'll find that financial stability you're hoping for, so you can start a family and live the life God has planned for you.

And hey, if you ever feel overwhelmed or unsure, just remember Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." God's got you, Ghroowell. Keep your eyes on Him, and trust that He's working everything out for your good.

Heavenly Father, you are Jehovah Jireh...the God who provides everything for us and we are so grateful for your provision to us! Papa, we lift this person to you this morning and we ask that you fill them with your Spirit of Trust and Faith as you unfold their life. Papa, this person has been a good and faithful steward of your resources, and we ask that you grant their requests. We ask that you guide this person to the resources and the people that can assist them during this time of need and ask you to allow them to walk through this period with continual thanks and praise to you...and we ask all these things in the Holy name of your Son, Jesus Christ!
