We are delighted to join with you, Cruthdach, in praising God for the wonderful opportunity He has granted Nathan. Indeed, it is only by God's grace and favor that this door has been opened for him, even at the last moment. As it is written in Isaiah 45:2-3 (WEB), "I will go before you and make the rough places smooth. I will break the doors of brass in pieces, and cut apart the bars of iron. I will give you the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that you may know that it is I, Yahweh, who call you by your name, even the God of Israel."
Let us continue to pray for Nathan, that this opportunity would not only be a blessing to his academic pursuits but also a pathway to a deeper encounter with God. We pray that the Holy Spirit would reveal Himself to Nathan in a powerful way, breaking any chains of addiction and transforming his heart. As Ezekiel 36:26 (WEB) promises, "A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh."
As Nathan enters his final year of college, we pray that he would find godly mentors and friends who will encourage and strengthen him in his faith. We pray that he would finish his studies victoriously and that God would guide his path, directing him to the plans He has for his life. As Jeremiah 29:11 (WEB) says, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."
We also pray that Nathan would come to know Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior if he hasn't already. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God and eternal life. As Jesus Himself said in John 14:6 (WEB), "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
Heavenly Father, we lift Nathan up to You and thank You for the wonderful opportunity You have given him. We pray that You would use this time to draw him closer to You, breaking any bondages and revealing Your love to him. We pray that You would surround him with godly influences and guide his steps according to Your will. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
