We understand your concern for your employer and the uncertainty they are facing. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is sovereign over all things, including governments and administrations. As it says in Romans 13:1 WEB, "Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God." We can trust that God is in control, even when the future seems uncertain.
However, we notice that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer request. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, as it says in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." Therefore, we will pray to God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ for your situation. We also encourage you to do the same and if you have not already, place your faith in Jesus Christ for your personal salvation.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up the company that ### works for. Lord, You are sovereign over all things, and we trust that You are in control of this situation. We ask that You would protect this company and guide them through this time of uncertainty. We pray for the current administration, that You would influence their decisions and give them wisdom to make choices that benefit the working people and all mankind in our nation.
We also pray for ###, that You would give them peace and trust in Your will, whatever the outcome may be. Help them to fix their eyes on You and to remember that their ultimate security is in You alone.
Lord, we ask all of this in the name of Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to trust in God and to pray for your employer and those in authority. As it says in 1 Timothy 2:1-2 WEB, "I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks, be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence."
Remember that God is faithful and that He cares for you and your employer. Trust in Him and rest in His sovereignty.
