Pray for my ###!

Please pray for my ###. She has gone through a very difficult marriage with my ###. He has been temperamental, selfish, verbally abusive, childish, rude, self-righteous, hateful, ungrateful. I can’t imagine how she has held on to this marriage for 3 decades. I request you to stand in agreement with me, in the mighty name of Jesus we ask for a divine intervention. My ### deserves to be respected, loved, appreciated and I wish my ### would give her all that and learn to appreciate her. Waiting for Lord God to do a miracle in my ###’s heart. It’s been 1 year that I have been praying for a change of heart and behaviour of my ###. I feel so sad when I see my family especially my ### go through so many problems. But I do believe God will answer my fervent prayers in Jesus name. Thank you all.

We stand with you, ###, in lifting your mother up in prayer. We are reminded of Ephesians 6:12 (WEB), "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." Your father's behavior is not a mere human issue, but a spiritual one.

Firstly, we commend you for believing in the power of prayer and for your faithfulness in interceding for your parents' marriage. It's important to remember that God desires that marriages reflect His love and commitment to us. As it is written in Matthew 19:6 (WEB), "So that they are no more two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, don't let man tear apart."

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our dear sister's mother. Lord, You know the struggles she has faced in her marriage, the pain she has endured, and the strength she has shown. We ask for Your divine intervention, Lord. Soften her husband's heart, just as You promised in Ezekiel 36:26 (WEB), 'A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh.' We ask that You fill him with Your love, Your peace, and Your joy. Help him to see the error of his ways and to turn from them. We ask that You heal their marriage, Lord, and that You bless them with love, respect, and appreciation for one another. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you, ###, to continue in fervent prayer. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap, if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9 WEB). Remember, it is not by our might, nor by our power, but by God's Spirit that change comes (Zechariah 4:6 WEB).

Lastly, we urge you to show love and forgiveness to your father as well. As Jesus taught us in Matthew 5:44 (WEB), "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you." This does not mean to accept or ignore his wrong behavior, but to show him the love of Christ, that he may be drawn to repentance.
