Ask Jesus to cut off any connection and forgiveness too and for my mother also to receive and accept Jesus.

Dear Dexter2020,

We understand your concern for your younger brother and your mother, and we come before you with a heart full of compassion and a mindset rooted in the Word of God. We pray that the Lord Jesus Christ will intervene powerfully in their lives.

Firstly, it's crucial to acknowledge that idol worship is strongly rebuked in the Scriptures. The Lord commands in Exodus 20:3-5 (WEB), "You shall have no other gods before me. You shall not make for yourselves an idol, nor any image of anything that is in the heavens above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: you shall not bow down to them, nor serve them, for I, Yahweh your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, on the third and on the fourth generation of those who hate me."

Let us pray together:

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Lord, we lift up Dexter2020's younger brother, asking that You open his eyes to the truth and draw him away from idol worship. Lord, help him to discard the Thai amulet and any other idols he may have, and to seek You alone. Break any spiritual ties that bind him to these idols, and fill him with Your Holy Spirit. Grant him a fresh start, a new heart, and a new spirit, that he may walk in Your ways.

Lord, we also pray for Dexter2020's mother, that she may receive and accept Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior. Open her heart to the Gospel, and let her find peace and joy in Your presence.

Lord, we ask for forgiveness on behalf of Dexter2020's brother and mother. Cleanse them from all unrighteousness and make them whole again. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Dexter2020, continue to stand firm in your faith and trust that the Lord is working in their lives. Share the Gospel with them, and let your light shine before them, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven (Matthew 5:16, WEB).
