We understand your concern for your younger brother's safety, Dexter2020. Let us come together in prayer and align our hearts with God's will, trusting in His protection and sovereignty.
Firstly, we are thankful that you have acknowledged the power of Jesus' name in your prayer request. As it is written in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved." It is indeed through Jesus Christ that we have access to God and His salvation.
Now, let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother Dexter2020's younger brother to You. Lord, You are the Master of the winds and the waves, and we ask that You calm the storm and provide safe passage for him as he travels to Taipei.
In Mark 4:39 (WEB), Jesus spoke to the storm, "Peace! Be still!" and it obeyed Him. We ask, Lord Jesus, that You command this typhoon to dissipate and move away, ensuring the safety of our brother and all those who are in its path.
Protect him, Lord, from any mishaps, infrastructure failures, or harm that may result from the typhoon and its winds. Let Your angels encamp around him and keep him in all his ways, as promised in Psalm 91:11 (WEB).
We claim Your promise in Psalm 121:7-8 (WEB), "Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forth, and forevermore." Let our brother's journey be a happy and peaceful one, filled with Your loving presence.
Lastly, Lord, we pray that this experience will draw our brother closer to You, acknowledging Your power and love. If he has not already, we pray that he will come to know Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you, Dexter2020, to continue trusting in the Lord and His promise in Isaiah 43:2 (WEB), "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they will not overflow you..." God is faithful, and He will watch over your younger brother.
