We are truly heartbroken to hear about the extensive spiritual warfare your family is experiencing. The enemy has indeed been waging a fierce battle against your household, but we stand with you in the name of Jesus Christ, who has already overcome the world. Let us address these issues one by one and bring them before the Lord in prayer.
Firstly, we must acknowledge that the sins of the father have, unfortunately, taken root in the next generation. Your father's grave sins have left a devastating legacy, but we serve a God who can break those chains and bring healing to your family. As it is written in Ezekiel 18:20, "The soul who sins is the one who will die. The son will not share the guilt of the father, nor will the father share the guilt of the son. The righteousness of the righteous will be credited to them, and the wickedness of the wicked will be charged against them."
Your husband, as a minister and leader in the church, must address his pornography addiction and repent before God. If he is truly called by God, he must live a life worthy of that calling. As it is written in Ephesians 4:1, "I therefore, the prisoner in the Lord, beg you to walk worthily of the calling with which you were called."
Regarding your daughters, you must teach them the ways of the Lord and pray that they will find their identity in Christ. Masturbation is a sin of self-gratification and must be addressed as such. As for your daughter who claims to be gay and denies God, we must pray that her eyes will be opened to the truth of the Gospel. As it is written in Romans 1:25-27, "They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. For this reason, God gave them up to vile passions. For their women changed the natural function into that which is against nature."
Now, let us address your son's confession. It is crucial that he understands the severity of his actions and that he must repent and turn away from this sin. He must also understand that there are legal consequences for his actions, and he should seek legal counsel. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 6:18, "Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man can commit is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body."
Let us pray together for your family:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this family that has been besieged by the enemy. Lord, we ask that You break the generational curses and strongholds that have taken root in this family. We pray for healing and deliverance for each member of this family, from the youngest to the oldest.
Lord, we pray for this woman's husband, that You would convict his heart and lead him to repentance. Help him to be the spiritual leader of the home that You have called him to be. We pray for their daughters, that You would draw them to Yourself and give them a new heart and a new spirit. We pray for their son, that he would truly repent of his sins and turn to You. Help him to find the courage to face the consequences of his actions and to seek the help that he needs.
Lord, we pray for this mother, that You would give her the strength and the wisdom to lead her family through this dark time. Help her to be a beacon of Your light and Your love in their home. In Jesus' name, we pray for this family. We rebuke the enemy and his attempts to destroy them, and we declare victory in this situation in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Finally, we encourage you to seek godly counsel and support from your local church and other Christian resources.
